5 Healthy Foods That Might be Giving You Issues

  1. Tomatoes: Tomatoes fall into a family of foods called “night shade vegetables”. Night shade vegetables are known for inducing inflammation in most people, especially those with arthritis, fibromyalgia, lupus, and auto immune disorders.
  2. Peanuts: Over the past decade, the incidence of peanut allergies in the US has almost doubled! The cause of this epidemic is likely due to a toxin called Aflatoxin. Aflatoxin (also found in wheat and rice)  is a toxin that is created by mold that forms when crops like peanuts are stored in large masses.
  3. Vegetable Oil :In this article, I’m referring to processed seed oils like soybean oil, sunflower oil, corn oil, canola oil, cottonseed oil, safflower oil and a few others.Even though they aren’t really vegetables, these oils are commonly referred to as “vegetable oils.”These oils contain very large amounts of biologically active fats called Omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, which are harmful in excess.
  4. Chicken Breast: Chickens are probably the most abused animals in the world. When they are farmed, they are shoved in small cages, fed toxic garbage, and brutally killed. Aside from the toxins and chemicals they are pumped with prior to slaughter (antibiotics, ARSENIC….read this: http://www.organicauthority.com/health/8-reasons-chicken-is-not-a-health-food.html) they are super stressed animals. Essentially, you are EATING those stress hormones.
  5. Conventionally raised (grain fed)lean beef: Cows are meant to eat grass. But when the average american eats 200 pounds of beef each year, meat producers have to find a way to meet the demand. The way they are able to do this is by feeding cows a cheap, unnatural diet. The result: low quality meat laden with toxicity and omega 6 fatty acids            I’m not trying to scare you
